The world we thought we lived in is changing everyday. Some people might be afraid right now. Kanye West isn’t. I’m going to tell you why you shouldn’t be either.
Good always prevails.
Rooted in our shared existence, if you truly look back at all of history, the dark forces are the team that will always lose. The dark side is somewhere where you might think you want to be. The dark side is somewhere some people get used to. The dark side is not in you, naturally. It is a force fighting to break you. The dark side is something that you think you might not be able to control from within.
Never believe that. There are forces beyond your government. There are forces beyond your control. There are forces beyond the media. There are forces that you can feel right now if you choose to.
Live Fearlessly.
You don’t need to be afraid of anything. Not everything you fear will kill you, unless you break your truth, and let it. The tricks of the devil will never end. Until you recognize you are powerless without it’s counterpart, you will lose over and over again. Mental illness and spirituality are not far off from one another. If you believe that you are sick, you will be. If you believe you are the light inside you, you will be. If you don’t let someone make you afraid, you will not be.
You are your own stream. Do not let any external forces interrupt your stream to your truth.
Stay Dancing.
When you feel like something has control of you, dance it off. Let all your demons shake off you as you feel the light inside you truly rise. If you feel your spirit rising inside of you, let it. If you want to go get something, go get it. If you feel your spirit telling you you aren’t in the right place, you aren’t. Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid to face your truth. Do not be afraid to face evil in the face. You may see evil in someone else’s face, or your own. Trust God. Look into your heart and soul and recognize the idea that you CAN serve something greater than that thing that holds you down, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS.
Whatever, whoever holds you back, feel your spirt tell you what you need to hear and do not be afraid. Do not let evil win from within. It is not in you. Once you get it out, you will feel it’s grip around your throat weaken as the light lifts you and fills you with strength.
Love. Generously.
Love is the currency of yesterday, today and tomorrow. In times of great struggle, love is all that remains. No evil has ever overcome the power of love. Love is what turns the world and keeps it from coming to a cold dark halt. When you are faced with your darkness, love. When you are faced with someone else’s darkness, love. When you cannot love yourself, love someone.
When you cannot feel love from anything around you, love that there is a force of good that can come back from the dead and save you, like it saved me, and like it saved Kanye.
Love everyone around you, for they are here to give you an opportunity to serve something greater than yourself.
Kanye West is someone who has truly influenced me. He has been something that I have not only heard, but truly felt. I am currently speaking personally. But what he shows me now, is everything I just wrote above.
In my darkest of moments, Kanye West’s music has been there for me.
The truths and feelings beneath were always something that perplexed me and confused me, because I did not know why.
I know why now. In facing my own truths, I have become someone who will always look up to someone like Kanye West. Not because of his clothing, or his sneakers, or his music, but because he has faced the darkest of evils and stood strong to fight for what is right.
Fight for the truth of your brother. Fight for freedom of thought. Fight for the gospel. Fight evil, at all costs.
I recommend you get to know the real Kanye. Because as he said, not all experiences can be explained.
